Our Approach

To get natural looking photos, the photographer has to have some knowledge of your personal feelings and expectations about your wedding day.

To best achieve this, you need to spend some time with your photographer before the wedding.

We first provide a free introductory meeting. This is to see if we all click.

If this is favorable and you are comfortable, we then like to meet you at your site location no charge and discuss details of the day and the photos you absolutely must have (the shot list). We can then discuss the details and finalize the estimate of photographing your wedding.

Then, to really get to know your relationships with the people attending, we like to attend the rehearsal dinner or any "day before" activity. This is probably the very best way for the photography team to meet everyone, put everyone at ease with the cameras, and get to understand your relationships with everyone attending.

On your wedding day, we can then better anticipate many happenings instead of just blindly following and capturing events in an "outsider's" methodical way. It really does make a difference in the quality of the photographs and the moments captured.
